Throughout the original run of The Waltons, we saw John-Boy portrayed by both Richard Thomas and Robert Wightman. The change of actor is never addressed in the show, but what if there was an in-universe explanation? And what if the two John-Boys actually had a chance to meet somehow? That's the premise of this story.

After an argument causing Grandpa and Grandma to leave, John Boy goes to try and bring them back. But on his way back home he es out due to an illness. Will his family find him and will it bring his grandparents back to the house where they belong? Disclaimer I don't own any of the characters.

It was going to be the first holiday the Walton family would all be gathered in a long time, though it wouldn't be a straightforward week. With John Boy trying to convince his new girlfriend to marry him, Jason tiring of touring and Elizabeth and Erin's relationship struggles.

Based on the episode 'The Spirit' from season 8. Elizabeth develops feelings for Paul, the escaped German POW who'd been hiding out on Walton's Mountain.

Life seemed to move on with Joy Summers and Emma Davis once they moved in with the Waltons. Now a new chapter of both their lives are playing. Emma is happily getting with Ben while Joy is struggling to find out if she loves Jason. In the midst of struggling something dark and sinister begins to grow that might tear them all apart.

(Based on the twenty-third episode of the first season) Sarah is a good friend of John Boy's who sees marriage as a way of getting out of her strict mother's grasp. She begins a relationship with a 'townie', Theodore Albert Claypool, the son of a wealthy businessman, and the two decide to elope.

The night was dark on Walton's Mountain, and rain was pouring. A lonely and wet man found himself wandering around, looking for somewhere to hide. After what seemed like hours or stumbling up a muddy dirt road, he spotted a house, with only one window lit up with light.

Another visitor came by the Walton s house asking for food and shelter, however this time, things arent what they seems.
