I didn't think dragons were real, but... This is a story told through the eyes of an OC narrator who witnesses something truly gruesome happening to the village she lives in. Characters include King Richard, Tad Cooper, and an OC narrator. Written for my Writers Guild club at school in March.

The early days of Richard's rule were challenging because the young boy hadn't actually planed on being king. There were a lot of habits that Richard would have to learn to break before he could become an acceptable ruler. His new guard Gareth was assigned to him to help him out with that.
