The unicorn Lady Amalthea has returned to her enchanted forest after being away for years, but her quest to save her kind continues to haunt her. She misses her beloved Prince Lir and struggles with the newfound emotions she gained during her short time as a human girl. Shortly after returning to the forest, she crosses paths with two familiar huntsmen who once visited her forest.

Molly's daughter doesn't have to wait as long as she did to meet a unicorn.

Schmendrick follows Nikos to a gathering of wizards that is apparently about the disappearance of certain magical creatures, finding out that there's actually more behind it. I took inspiration from "The Name of the Rose", the songs "Ai Vist lo Lop, lo Rainal, la Levre" and "Ommadawn". I'm not a native English speaker and I'm self-taught, I apologize for any major mistake.

Back in January, I wrote this song for a conceptual Broadway adaptation of the 1982 animated masterpiece "The Last Unicorn". It is meant to be performed by the story's tragic villain, King Haggard, who was portrayed by legendary actor Christopher Lee in the original movie.
