The story follows Yuvraj Vunshoec and a fellowship of companions who set out to rescue his bride, Yuvragni Pexano, from a fortress of alien invaders who have arrived on their home planet. It is based on the 1983 Movie that is called Krull.

Two tankas, one from the POV of Lyssa as is carried away by the Slayers to the Black Fortress, the other from Rell's perspective in his last moments as he aids Colwyn in getting inside the Fortress.
