It was hard being around the hearing- it made me feel confined in a shell that surpressed the love I had for her. She could never know that I loved her- she could barely even communicate with me, though she tried so hard. It could never be worth it.

Her eyes bore the hurt he had inflicted years before, and his bore the hurt that was just moments ago inflicted on him. She took his hand, and promised that the only thing that would seperate them ever again, was death itself.

Holding it in, all he could do was take her in his arms, and promise her that just like she hadn't left, he wouldn't.

She was ready to give whatever she had to. Henry had told her since she was a littlegirl to back off, to not get so attached, and now that she understood what that meant, she took everything she could, and made him want her just as much as she wanted him.

She looked down into the eyes of their son, and she knew there was something so different about him. No one in their family had inherited green eyes for generations, and there was a sparkle in them that showed her he would go on to do great things. The sky was the limit for them. This is their lives. From Keith's birth, until his death.

Natalie reflects on her and Keith's relationship in sunsets.

Keith is in the hospital with pneumonia. While the ones who love him grieve for his inevitable ing, he has a rather surprising near-death experience, involving a white suit, a tape recorder, and a strange man... Rated for language.

Maybe he couldn't let the chemo fight for him; maybe he had to work for it...He had something to live for...In Natalie...In his child. He had to fight for his survival,and he would, even if at the end, he still couldn't go any further.
