When Sarah finally goes back to Eric's loft after seeing him on the street, she discovers that she's not the only one memories are getting a hold onto. (This is one part of a novelization of The Crow I'm working on - bold text is Eric's memory flashes, underlined indent is the crow speaking into Eric's mind.)

This is an original poem I wrote for one of my English courses in college. I choose the "Crow" as the Category Title just because it shares a common theme with my poem. I welcome any constructive criticism and hope you all enjoy reading "The Winged Ferret".

He's back.

Four centuries ago, A Samurai named Shin is injured by a roving gang of marauders taking advantage of the dissaray following in the wake of the Menashi-Kunashir Rebellion. Shin must watch helplessly as his sister is murdered. However, Shin manages to free himself after her death, and burn down their house to honor his dead sister. Centuries later, he is resurrected by The Crow!

In the afterlife, Lauren and Alex meet.

Jamie Anderson and Adelaide Miller are murdered on the night Jamie proposes. One year later, Jamie arises from the dead, a ruthless killer, bent on taking out the ones who killed him and his soulmate. While Jamie is in the Land of the Living, he is guided by a mystical Crow, who is his lifeline to our world. And the best part: as long as the bird is around, Jamie can not be harmed.

Leaving off from the end of the [first] movie, we see some loose ends tied up for the characters left behind.

Years after Draven's retribution, Sarah is haunted by the whisper of a promise once made, and becomes a living victim to the torment that befalls his voice as it invades her dreams. This poem isn't necessarily about The Crow, but it was inspired after I watched the movie. I read that they actually used a raven instead of a crow, so I got really interested in how to distinguish crows from ravens. This poem sort of is the offspring of that research. In case you do read it, I use murder in my poem because it is called a murder of crows, not a flock.

Eric Draven was happily engaged to his fiancé, Shelly. They were set to marry until their car broke down on a stretching high way. Shelly became the target of a ing gang. They shot Eric, raped Shelly and then killed her. A crow, a super natural guide for the dead, brought Eric back for revenge. Now, Eric has become known as "The Crow".

Not exactly a typical crow story, but perhaps one that's like a cousin to one. Please read and review.
