This is what I think should have happened rather than what happens at the beginning of the first book. I am changing the beginning of the story so the rest of the story will be different from the books, however, I am going to have some parts be the same, or close to the same, as the books.

So you know how all of Adrian's drawings disappeared when he neutralized himself? That would include the stitches holding Ruby's stab wounds closed, so she would have known immediately something was wrong. Except she thinks Adrian can't be neutralized, so she would have had no choice but to think the worst when she starts bleeding. This is my attempt to capture those thoughts.

Everyone looking over their shoulder and Renegades taking a third glance to anyone who resembled any of the Anarchist . Renegades distracted, people take control of the city under their noses. Many that are prodigies who refuse to be the wannabe image of a renegade. Darion being one of them, deciding to bring a new meaning to 'Renegade' of his own.

I've seen a lot of posts about how people think Magpie is Evie. I do not, but I do think there are enough similarities between the way Magpie and Nova grew up that they could create a pseudo-sisterly relationship. Anyway, this is my take on how I think that would happen. It starts with Magpie simply asking for help with training, but it quickly spirals into more than that.
