This short scene takes place in The Singing, as the group (Maerad, Cadvan, Hem, Irc, Saliman & Hekibel) make their way to Afinil and see the Black Army marching towards Lirigon. Cadvan is visibly upset by this and leaves the group to hide his grief. In the book, Maerad is paralysed by nervousness to even comfort him. This story presents an alternate scene where she does.

After the attack at the Gwalhain , Cadvan fears Maerad is killed. Now, he must decide his path and try to keep Edil-Amarandh from falling to the Darkness - whilst also facing down his own inner demons. What revelations lie in wait for the now solitary Bard of Lirigon? And what dangers? Set during The Riddle and spilling over into The Singing, from Cadvan's point of view.

Racked with grief over losing his loving Maerad, Cadvan is surprised to feel his grief lessened by the occasional glimpse of the lone wolf. Where did the wolf come from and why was it here. Well neither of them knew.

One night after finding Hem, Maerad thinks, sees and feels how much had changed since Cadvan found her - and what hadn't.

This my take on what happened after The Singing. Maerad and Cadvan return to Innail. They must help with the eradication of Sharma's remaining forces. And they get to explore their new found love for each other. Major MaeradxCadvan. Please R&R.

This is a story set after Cadvan and Maerad have married and Maerad is worried about Cadvan's reaction to her news. Very fluffy I hope because fluffy is good. This isn't a very good summary and I never know what to write on these things but please read anyway.
