So hoping this is the right place to post this, as it is more based on Epic the Musical, as I have no real knowledge of the Odyssey outside of that. If this is something that actually does take place in one of the published versions of the Odyssey, please let me know and I'll remove it. As for where this starts off, this starts off just after Ody's battle with Poseidon.

This is a "What If" chapter of the Odyssey where Odysseus and his men land upon a strange and misty island. When they fall asleep, they find out that they are back in Ithaca, their homeland; they are initially overjoyed and determine that the gods must have had mercy upon them. However, Odysseus is not so convinced, and it turns out their homeland isn't what they think it is.

A story inspired by a friend reminding me that Greeks were gay. Written on a bus ride home on the phone, its a short story of Odysseus and Hercules, where Odysseus uses his wit to gain an advantage over Hercules.
