Call stands outside his chamber door for a long time. It's almost one in the morning. He's scared someone will still be up waiting for him. He's scared no one will be. He doesn't want to lose Tamara and Aaron, but if they are going to hold his being a fairy against him, then he would rather lose them. Or: The third installment in the "The Bent Over Tree" series.

Call swallows dry, two thoughts running around in his head:The first is that of course, of freaking course, he would be the one to accidentally summon a demon from hell. He is an evil overlord after all, and nothing says evil overlord more than messing with hell. He almost doesn't see him, distracted as he is with keeping his eyelids open, but he does catch sight of someone standing to his left. When he looks, the masked man stares back at him and Aaron yelps. He drops his books and scurries away, but when he looks back over his shoulder, the corridor is empty.- Or: Aaron is a child with a war on his shoulders. His mind takes the toll.

'"Yes! I am the Enemy of Death!" The words seem to echo in the clearing and for a moment it feels like Rufus' heart has seized in his chest. All he can do is stare at Callum (Constantine?) kneeling by Aaron's body, his grey eyes bright with tears.' Master Rufus' point of view of the moment Callum reveals himself in front of the Magisterium's Masters and of the events that followed.

If Jasper could, he'd take back each and every time he wished for Call to be out of his way. At night, rolling in bed and trashing in his sleep, Jasper imagines some deity smirking at him and asking: "Are you happy now? Does it taste good like you thought it would?" "No." Jasper thinks. "It tastes like bile." -Or: In which many things have changed since Iron Year, including Jasper.

Where Aaron's birthday was forgotten to his friends at the Magisterium, and Call finds out, and feels incredibly guilty. I couldn't not a fiction of Aaron and Call angst. Major CALRON feels. Rated T because of the nagging angel on my right shoulder. ONE-SHOT.

There is a part of Aaron that wants Rory to remain unsettled for as long as possible. That way, he'd feel somewhat freer; feel like he still had time to learn and change and be a child, not a child soldier.
