The axiom I go by, both in beta-reading and in life, is simple: I'm here to help. I am currently working as a Professional Writing TA at Boston University, so writing/editing is both my job and my ion. I've been a member of the FFN community since I was young and have been beta-ing my own stories since before services like this were available! While my background in grammar allows me to be very strict in that arena, in all others I am extremely flexible and open-minded. As a FFN writer, I know how valuable it can be sometimes just to have an extra set of eyes. I'd love to be that extra set of eyes for you and/or to provide any other beta-ing services you might need! :)

As a Technical Writing major, my grammar skills are generally pretty fierce. I'm also extremely flexible about betaing to individual needs. As long as you can tell me exactly what kind of betaing experience you're interested in, I'll be more than happy to provide :)

I don't really believe in criticism, "constructive" or not, so while I'm more than happy to make grammar changes and possible suggestions, I'll never insist (or even heavily push) for any changes to content/story.
